Cryotherapy or freezing method is an intervention with minimal discomfort, which can be applied in various dermatological pathologies e.g. warts (warts), papillomas, keratoses, molluscum contagiosum. Liquid nitrogen is used at a temperature of -194 oC. After this procedure the frozen area will become red and slightly swollen, oedematous, for this reason it is advisable to avoid exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures, intense physical activity. The redness and oedema subside in 3-4 days. Depending on the type of lesion within a few days after freezing, the lesion will heal.
